The ideal candidate will possess excellent numerical skills, an analytical mindset, and be adept at managing key relationships while supporting profitable business decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Sales and Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary contact for customers during the sales process, offering information and recommendations on equipment, services, and options.
• Quotation and Specification: Provide accurate and timely quotes, follow up with customers to meet sales goals, and close sales by securing customer commitments according to company pricing standards.

Qualifications:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Market Growth: Drive the expansion and profitability of the market.
• Team Development: Cultivate a skilled workforce, advancing technicians from apprentices to senior roles, and ensuring all staff are proficient in their responsibilities.
• Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations, including employee schedules, payroll verification, and inventory control.

• Training: Must be willing to commit to a 2-year agreement to become IDEA certified. The company will cover the full cost of certification, provided you remain with the company for the duration of the contract. Should you terminate employment or resign before the end of the contract period, you will be responsible for repaying the prorated amount of the certification costs that the company has incurred on your behalf.

This role requires someone who is organized, efficient, persuasive, and skilled in problem-solving. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, requiring a patient and respectful demeanor, and the ability to handle high volumes of inbound calls effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Handle high-volume inbound calls to assist customers with their garage door needs.
• Provide exemplary customer service and support, enhancing customer satisfaction and contributing to sales targets.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with effective listening abilities.
• Multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively to meet customer needs promptly.
• Utilize CRM systems to track customer interactions and data — experience with CRM tools is highly valued.
• Work independently, maintaining professionalism and organizational standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales or customer support; call center experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong proficiency in using computer systems and software, capable of handling multiple screens and tabs.
• Ability to type at least 40 WPM.
• Knowledge of the service industry is beneficial but not mandatory.

Working Conditions:

• Must be comfortable sitting for extended periods.
• This position requires no late nights or work on major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.
• Candidates must pass a drug test and background check.

• Training requires use of a personal computer with a video camera (no tablets/phones).
